Your new smile with our treatment of Invisalign in Leeds starts with an initial consultation. During this, our orthodontic treatment coordinator will take you through the treatment process step by step.

Your transformation begins right away, as you share your consent. To prepare for the next step, it is essential to share your oral details with our doctors. This process is all with purpose; we will obtain X-rays with advanced technology and acquire a 3D model of what your future smile could look like. You will also see a digital preview of what your smile will look like before we start treatment. If you are happy with the digital preview, we move forward with impressions.

These impressions are sent straight to a premium Invisalign laboratory. They accurately produce your tailored clear aligner sparing in the attention to detail they bring to everything. After we receive the aligners at our Leeds city centre practice and you come in for your fitting, the fun begins! Each clear aligner will be worn for 1 to 2 weeks so the teeth can move into position precisely.

Process of Invisalign Treatment

Here’s a step-by-step guide to Invisalign treatment

Step 1

Visit us at Gatley Park Dental

At your first appointment we’ll help you decide your course of treatment. The dentist will take digital impressions of your teeth and send them to Invisalign.

Step 2

Making your aligners

3D imaging technology is used to transform your impressions into a custom-made series of clear and removable aligners. There may be as many as 48 in the series or as few as 12, depending on your requirements.

Step 3

Receive your aligners

During your next visit to Gatley Park, you will receive your first set of aligners. Your dentist will probably give you a few additional sets for you to wear before you return for your next visit.

Step 4

Wear your aligners

You’ll wear each set of the aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss. You’ll need to visit your dentist every six weeks to check that your treatment is progressing as planned. The total treatment time averages from 12 to 18 months.

Step 5

Finish your treatment:

Your treatment ends when you have completed wearing each set of aligners. To help keep your bright new smile, you will wear retainers at night for six months, and then usually a few times a week as instructed by your dentist.

Love this dental practice. Just had a very old veneer removed and replaced by Bikram, who did a fantastic job! The new veneer looks so natural and the colour match is perfect. It wasn’t a straightforward job, but Bikram’s attention to detail ensured an excellent outcome and I am absolutely delighted with the new veneer !
